Styling background: Karla studied the dry cutting technique with the late John Sahag and his creative styling team at his workshop on Madison Avenue. Her continuing education includes studying the techniques of Vidal Sassoon, Nick Arrojo (of TLC’s “What Not to Wear”), and Tim Hartley of Davines.

Specialty: Edgy and/or precision cuts – always personalized.

Personal Note: As a working mother (of two wonderful children) I know what it’s like to be very busy. That’s why creating a effortless, manageable hairstyle for each client is a must. I not only shape your hair but also give you simple tips and techniques to make your styling at home as easy as possible.

After being in the salon industry for nearly a decade, Karla founded Slope Suds to bring high-end salon services to her Park Slope community.
